In spite of the severe difficulties faced during the current situation, the five Departments, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Zoology and Botany organized several workshops and webinars. Students submitted posters and projects maintaining covid protocol.

Other programs under DBT STAR College Scheme for the session 2020-21:
- National Science Day was celebrated by the department of Botany on the Topic: Biodiversity: Conservation and Commitment. Event 1was a Panel Discussion by the students of UG Sem-I, III and V. Event 2 was an Awareness Program conducted by the students of UG Semester-V of the department in the biodiversity rich places of their residential areas and college campus. The video was uploaded to YouTube on May 25, 2020.
- A Photography Contest was organised by the Department of Botany, on the occasion of World Wildlife Day on the subject: 'Interaction of wildlife with flora, in your locality or college campus' for faculty members and students of Bethune College from March 3-31, 21. The judge was Dr. Kisor Mukhopadhyay, Department of Physics, Prabhu Jagatbandhu College, Andul and Avid Wildlife Photographer.
- Four poster presentations and ten review projects on varied curriculum relevant topics were successfully completed by the students of the Department of Chemistry by March 2021.
- Five projects on curriculum related topics were successfully completed by the UG Sem-III students of the Department of Botany by March 2021.
