Call for Papers for Volume on Rabindranath Tagore and Translation

The English, Bengali and Sanskrit departments of Bethune College(Govt.) are going to organize a one-day UGC sponsored State level Seminar on Rabindranath Tagore and Translation in collaboration with the English department of Bidhannagar College (Govt.).on April 30, 2013.

The thrust areas would be:

  • Translations of Rabindranath Tagore
  • Translations by Rabindranath Tagore including the translations of his own Bengali works
  • Problematics of Tagore translation

Contributions are invited from College teachers and Research scholars working in English, Bengali or Sanskrit departments.
Contributions should be within 3000 words, may be in either English or Bengali, should be formatted according to MLA style sheet and sent as email attachment to mcmandira@gmail.com .

Last date for submission: April 15, 2013.
The decision of the Editorial board shall be final.
