A workshop in progress   Excursion - Paikaria Waterfalls
  • Educational tours: As a compulsory part of the curriculum, we take our UG and PG students to different Phytogeographical Regions where they study the flora, nature of ecosystems, biodiversity etc. In this academic session, we took our UGIInd and PG IInd year students to Bhutan.
     
  • Local Visits: Visit to Botanical Garden, Sibpur, Howrah & Bamungachi, North 24 Parganas to study the vegetation, medicinal plants and Herbarium of the endangered plants.
     
  • Publication: Publishing wall magazines “Prayas” every six months by the departmental students.
     
  • Participation: Active participation in different Science Fairs.
     
  • Other Activities: NSS activities like blood donation camp, value education course etc.
